Card Condition Guide

All card conditions are assessed based on Koibbito TCG’s standards. The descriptions below are general examples only; a card may have one or more types of wear.

Near Mint (NM)

The card is in excellent overall condition with little to no visible wear. Minor manufacturing imperfections such as faint print lines, slight edge wear, minor centering issues, or small surface marks may still be present.

Near Mint does not mean perfect or guaranteed gradable.

Lightly Played (LP)

The card remains clean and presentable but has minor visible wear, such as:

  • Light scratches or scuffing
  • Small white spots along the edges
  • Minor dents or surface marks
  • Slight holo misalignment
  • Mild age-related wear

Heavily Played (HP)

The card has obvious and noticeable wear but remains suitable for collection or gameplay when sleeved. This may include:

  • Multiple scratches or white spots
  • Noticeable dents or edge wear
  • Creases or surface deterioration
  • Heavy scuffing, discoloration, or age-related wear

Damaged (DMG)

The card has significant damage that may affect its appearance or use, including:

  • Major folds or creases
  • Peeling or heavy surface wear
  • Tears, stains, or water damage
  • Severe sun fading or discoloration
  • Structural damage that may be noticeable even when sleeved

Important Notes

  • Condition standards apply to both Japanese and international cards. However, international cards may commonly have more factory-related imperfections.
  • For unopened promotional cards, the condition is based only on the visible portions of the card and packaging. We cannot guarantee the condition of areas hidden by the packaging.
  • Unopened products cannot be returned after opening.
  • Graded cards are sold according to the grade assigned by the grading company. Cases may have minor scratches, marks, or other imperfections unless specifically stated.
  • Product images may be samples unless the listing states that the exact card shown will be provided.
